Draft Allotment Association  Rules

The rules will be issued and signed for at the annual rent collection.

The rules can be amended by the agreement of the majority at an AGM or Special/Emergency GM

• Membership of the Association is compulsory. The annual fee of £x is payable with the annual rent payment, due by………………………..

• A refundable key deposit of £x is payable by all new tenants. Any lost or extra keys can be obtained by payment of a similar deposit.

• A refundable plot condition deposit of £x is payable by all new tenants

• Applications for the errection of structures, sheds and greenhouses must be made in writing to ………………………………………..

• Applications for the keeping of bees and livestock must be made in writing to ……………………………………….

• Plot holders must allow inspection of their plot and buildings by members of the committee

• Plot holders are responsible for the maintenance of …….. paths and/or fences around/between their plots

• Plot holders must not obstruct the main paths

• Plot holders must remove all broken glass and non compostable materials from the site

• Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and must not cause a nuisance to other plot holders. Excrement should be removed from the site by the owner

• Children are the responsibility of the parents/carers and as such should not be allowed to cause a nuisance to others
