Gardening Talks at Fryers Garden Centre

Gardening talks by Sam Youd, former Head Gardener at Tatton Park for over 30 years:-

Hanging Baskets and Patio Plants – 5th April 2016 – 2.30 to 4.30 pm

Containers, Pots and Troughs – 26th April 2016 – 2.30 to 4.30 pm

There will also be a talk by The Cheshire Wildlife Trust:

Good For Nature, Good for You – how to make your garden wildlife friendly – 14th May 2016 – 2.30 to 4.30 pm

Each talk is £10 per ticket with light refreshments provided. Tickets available at The Rosary Restaurant at Fryers Garden Centre or call 01565 750752.

Harrogate Road Allotments is now selling Potatoes, Onions and shallots. They are available in the site shop on Sunday’s between 10 and 12.

Varieties of potatoes which are sold in 1Kg are;-

First Early – Arran Pilot
Second Early – Kestrel and charlotte

Main Crop – Valor, Desiree and Sarpo Mira
