The Greater Manchester’s Spatial Framework has been put together by the 10 local authorities in Greater Manchester, including Stockport, to plan for housing and business development. They have identified land they plan to build on and the plan is now open for consultation. This consultation runs from 9 November to 11 January 2016.

Farmstart Woodbank at Woodbank Park

Are you looking to make a gradual transition from community or allotment growing to commercial production, build up your skills and experiment with organic growing on a larger scale.

Woodbank_resizedApplications for FarmStart Woodbank are now open – Stockport residents will be given priority. The deadline for applications is 22nd November 2015. Applicants will be notified by 27th November and will need to pay £100 deposit by 6th December (the annual programme fee is £500). Induction is in January 2016.
